Experience
I believe that education is the key to professional and personal success. As an experienced teacher, I am dedicated to helping each and every one of my pupils gets the education needed to reach their goals and flourish in a professional setting. I believe that the best way to teach a class is to take a team-oriented approach where I'm able to build professional relationships with my students and get to know them on an individual basis. I have an extensive background in education, starting from when I was an undergraduate and pursued my bachelor's degree in deaf education with a focus on math and English. I also graduated with a master's degree in linguistics from Gallaudet University, and I'm currently certified to teach English, math, deaf education, and special education in a classroom setting. My experiences as a teacher have taught me that every student learns differently, and that the best way to reach a student and help them succeed is to incorporate a lot of activities and hands-on exercises that are entertaining and informative. When I'm not spending the bulk of my time in the classroom, I like to watch sports - especially the NBA. My other hobbies include attending concerts, cooking Italian food, and reading.
