I am currently a second grade public school teacher, which gives me insight into many of the challenges that our students are facing today. Students are required to perform a variety of tasks in their school day and each comes with its own set of skills that must be mastered. I feel that my job is to ensure your child has the resources, tools, and support they require to perform at their best ability in school. I am originally from Buffalo, New York and relocated to DC in 2015 after accepting a position as a second grade teacher. I received my degree in Elementary Education and History at Cortland State University of New York. I am interested in working with students in Elementary Math, English, Essay Editing, History, Life Sciences, Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies. I enjoy playing with my dogs, wandering the city, and curling up to read a good book. It was my love for reading that really pushed me to become a teacher. I wish to share my love of learning and reading with my young students.
