I love helping students learn, and I cannot wait to help you realize your full potential! I enjoy teaching, as well as growing as an educator. I first started tutoring while I was in college, and I worked with high school students. I was thrilled to be able to help them in a subject that was causing frustration, and I want to continue my endeavors in education. I have also had the opportunity to tutor my friends, which I greatly enjoyed. I have been a teacher as well, teaching for four years in various departments, particularly Social Studies. I can tutor students in Algebra 1-2, Geometry, Math, U.S. History, World History, Social Studies, American History, Economics, European History, Government, Spanish 1-2, World Civilization, Languages, Business, Science, Spanish, Analytical Writing and a variety of AP classes. I also assist students with test prep, and can help them with SAT and the GRE. I have taken both, and I feel my previous experience can benefit my students. I earned my bachelor's degree in International Affairs and History from Georgetown University, and a master's in Education from Valparaiso University.When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, especially science fiction and fantasy. I also play strategy games and RPGs, make music on the piano, and practice aikido.
