I am a research project designer at NORC (National Opinion Research Center) at the University of Chicago. I am also pursuing my doctorate in Survey Methods at the University of Michigan, where I also received my undergraduate degrees.In my job, I work with mathematics every day. In fact, everyone uses math in his or her daily life to some extent. I use those everyday examples in my classes to make math concepts more real for students. I think all students can enjoy math, but they have to understand it! My tutoring experience is primarily with high school freshmen, but I have also worked with college students. I can tutor Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, and Trigonometry.In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, running, and cycling.
