I attended Johns Hopkins University, where I earned both my bachelor's degree in Public Health Studies with a concentration in International Health and my master's degree of Health Sciences in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a concentration in Reproductive Health. During my time at JHU, I served as a biology tutor and a teaching assistant in a health emergency management course. I particularly enjoy tutoring life science subjects like biology, molecular biology, evolutionary biology, cellular biology, and biochemistry. I enjoy helping my students increase their capacity for learning by tailoring my teaching style to each student's preferred learning method. I believe each student is unique, and by customizing my approach to the challenging material, I can help students form connections to previously intimidating topics. I enjoy sharing my love for biology with my students, because I believe a strong foundation in biology can open students' minds to a new appreciation of nature and the human experience. By practicing and reviewing concepts, students can gain fluency and mastery of any academic subject. I am truly enthusiastic about education, and I find it deeply rewarding to help my students achieve their goals. When I'm not tutoring, I like to dance, cook, work out, and travel.
